Mr. Holland joined the city and assumed his leadership role in August of 2011. He is responsible for the daily operations of all city departments and works under the supervision of the Mayor and City Council.

Additional duties include participation in various city boards; liaison to other local, state and federal governmental agencies; and as the representative of the city on various local issues and projects. Currently, the oversight and construction of the proposed new hospital will be a large portion of his responsibilities over the next two years.

He was born and raised in Coffeyville, Kansas, and his background includes numerous years in the military and local government service. He served over 20 years in the military that included service with the US Air Force and the US Army. His military tours included Europe, Asia, Hawaii, and Haiti with numerous stateside locations. Local government employment includes City and County management leadership roles in Ulysses, Kansas; Orchard City, Colorado; and Montrose, Colorado. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and his Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Colorado.

Mr. Holland and his wife have five children, and they enjoy participating in local events along with school activities.
