| Parks and Recreation Board meetings are held monthly in the Simpson Park Maintenance Building at 1530 Walnut Street. | |
 Park workers were busy
during the month of December, 2002, in the tennis court area in Simpson Park, putting
together forms in preparation for some concrete work. The concrete slab will hold the
sixth bench located around Simpson and Danner Parks. Funds for the seven park benches have been donated by area residents. Those interested in donating funds for a bench may suggest the area the bench should be located and request a plaque to be mounted on the bench, if the bench is in memory of a loved one.
