This mature eagle was one of two nesting in a Livingston County area about a week ago. Missouri continues to be one of the leading states in wintering eagles. During the 2003 annual winter eagle count, a total of 2,214 eagles were recorded - six of which were golden eagles. Sixty-four percent of the total number of eagles were adults.
