Hedrick Medical Center and the American Cancer Society has partnered to create a new patient education resource center at the hospital, which opened to the public June 1, 2009.

The PERC is located at Hedrick Medical Center’s Specialty Clinic and is open the first and third Monday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This unique center provides patients with the most current cancer information resources, as well as supplemental information such as where to buy wigs and turbans, finding transportation to appointments, completing forms, and taking nutritional supplements during treatment.
