Electric Superintendent

Chillicothe Municipal Utilities is seeking a full-time, experienced Electric Superintendent to guide, direct and perform the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and coordination of the electric systems for Chillicothe Municipal Utilities.

 The desired candidate should have a general knowledge of electrical technology, as would normally be acquired with an associate in applied science degree, and six years’ experience in electric utility field operations; or possession of a Journeyman Lineman certification recognized by the United States Department of Energy and six years’ experience in electric utility field operations. Knowledge of power system operations, regulatory policies and procedures, engineering economics, accounting principles, communications, labor laws, codes, employee/labor/customer relations techniques, and PC skills are desirable. Good speaking, writing, interpersonal, analytical, and supervisory skills are necessary. Attendance and participation at all Board of Public Works meetings and budget meetings are required.
