Crimes Against Children Conference (CACC) Outstanding Service Award Winner is Police Detective Whitney Murdock with the Chillicothe, Missouri Police Department.

Please join the DCAC in congratulating Detective Whitney Murdock as this year’s Outstanding Service Award Recipient. This award is presented in recognition of exceptional service and dedication to improving the lives of abused children and their families. Det. Murdock was nominated by the Chief of Police for Chillicothe, Missouri and other community members for her compassion, effectiveness, and dedication to the most vulnerable victims. Affectionately known by her community as “The Guardian,” Det. Murdock not only works to obtain justice for victims, but seeks to provide them with a future when society or their parents do not. It is evident Det. Murdock stands out as a champion for abused children and embodies outstanding service in her field.

 Next week, industry professionals from around the world will gather for Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center DCAC's 35th annual Crimes Against Children Conference (CACC). The premier conference for professionals in crimes against children, the CACC Awards are open to nominations from across the U.S. and are presented to professionals who have demonstrated significant commitment and dedication to vulnerable children and their families.

We are so grateful for the passionate service and the profound impact she has made in the lives of child victims. We look forward to honoring her at this year's Opening Plenary on Sunday, August 5th. 

Detective Whitney Murdock does an amazing job for our department, community, and the children.  We are proud that she has won this national award.  This award is a result of her hard work, dedication, and commitment to this community.  We are proud of her and the work she does!  Help us congratulate her on a job well done and her representation of our department and community.
