INVITATION TO BID

THE CITY OF CHILLICOTHE, MISSOURI is currently accepting sealed bids for all materials and labor to replace the roof, ridge cap, rake, and insulation of the Street Department Building located at 30 South Mitchell Ave, Chillicothe, MO.  The building is 60’ x 100’ and the roof will need to be replaced with White Commercial grade metal roofing, ranging from 22 to 26 gauge with R-13 Fiber Insulation with reinforced facing/radiant barrier and no sky lights.  The existing guttering needs to remain as is. The old metal roof and insulation will be hauled off by the Street Department.  Bid specifications and contract packets are available at the City Clerk’s office until the time of the bid opening.  Sealed Bids will be accepted at the City Clerk’s office at 715 Washington Street, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601 until May 8th, 2024, at 3 pm.  Bids must be sealed and labeled “Street Dept New Roof”.

ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTIONS OF BIDS.  The City Council reserves the right to accept the bid which in its judgement is the lowest and best bid; and to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, omissions, oversights, or irregularities in any bid.
