TAKE NOTICE that the City of Chillicothe, Missouri intends to sell the following described real estate properties by sealed bids: 

1. 1020 Cherry Street (empty lot):  All of Lot 1 (one) of Block ten (10) of King’s Addition to the city of Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri.
2. 1547 Bryan Street (empty lot with structure): The South Half of the following described tract:  A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section Thirty-five (35), Township Fifty-eight (58), Range Twenty-four (24), Livingston County, Missouri, described as follows:  Beginning 181 ½ feet East of the intersection of the East line of Cemetery Lane and the North line of Bryan Street; thence East 100 feet; Thence North 240 feet; thence West 100 feet; thence south 240 feet, to the place of beginning.
3. 615 Vine Street (empty lot):  All of the West 120 feet to Lot Two (2) in Block Thirty-five (35) of Original survey of the City of Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri.
4. 350 Jackson Street (empty lot): Beginning at the point of intersection of the East line of Easton Street with the South line of Jackson Street, City of Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri; thence East 50 feet; thence South 122 feet, more or less to alley; thence West 50 feet to Easton Street; thence North along East line of Easton Street to the beginning.  The same being lot 2 AND excess of ground adjoining same on the West of Block 1 of Barney’s Addition.
5. 1109 Broadway Street (empty lot):  The South Twenty-Five (25) feet of Lot 3 and all of Lot 6 and North Twenty-five (25) feet of Lot 7 Block 2 Comstock Addition to the City of Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri.

Sealed bids are due to the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall 715 Washington Street, Chillicothe, MO  64601 by 1:00 p.m. on June 16, 2023.  Please mark “Real Estate Bid” on the outside of the envelope.  Bid forms are available at the City Clerk’s office.

Please note that the city is asking for a $5,000 minimum bid on each property.  The bid will go to the highest bidder.  All properties already have water and sewer lines.  All highest bidders must pay the City Clerk with Cash or Cashier’s Check by 5:00 PM on June 23, 2023.  If a bidder bids on more than one property and is the highest bidder of one or more properties, bidder must take all winning bid properties.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all of Grantor's right, title and interest in and to the above-described properties unto Grantee, Grantee's heirs, successors and/or assigns forever; so that neither Grantor nor Grantor's heirs, successors and/or assigns shall have claim or demand any right or title to the properties described above.

The City of Chillicothe reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers and to waive any informalities, omission, oversights, or irregularities in any bid.
